Dear Student,
The fact that you have ended up on this site itself tells me that you are trying to learn this magnificent subject known as Thermodynamics. I have taught Thermodynamics in several different colleges, and one main thing that struck me was that my students were not fully understanding this simple subject. This is basically because of lack of concepts. Thermodynamics is everywhere and as such we cannot see it in action, but feel it and see its effects.
I have worked as an Engineer at Indian Space Research Organisation for 25 years. After my stint at ISRO, I moved on to my favourite job 'Teaching'. My first assignment was abroad at Libya, but I thought their standard was way too low, and I am just wasting my time. I returned to India, and immediately joined as Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Tamil Nadu college of Engineering, Coimbatore. I was immediately promoted as Principal of TNCET where I worked for couple of years. From then on I changed a few Engineering colleges across South India.
My teaching career is 15 years long, in those years I always felt that my student is not able to understand the subject. This site is just a step towards explaining the concepts, and also how to tackle the questions in University exams. I will try to give different examples than those found on the textbooks. I will also try to make a few animations to explain more effectively.
Hope you will support me in this endeavour.
Thank you
M Visweswara Rao
